Face knurling holders are suitable for knurling narrow bands (especially on tubing). They may be shifted off center to vary the diameter of knurl band that is produced. At smaller diameters, or where appearance is critical, face holders may not be suitable because the knurl pitch must change as the diameter changes (knurling a wide face in narrow, separate bands will allow the tracking to correct itself). Conical holders (previous page) should be used for more difficult applications. A carbide pin and hex wrench are included. Knurl is not included.
